Origin Story

16 years ago, a group of small businesses asked us to build a hiring software to help them convert from emailed resumes and paper applications over to web based online applications.


We target primarily small businesses’ who at the time were being served by a big giant Goliath in the applicant tracking world. Our biggest realization then and every year since then, has been that what initially was a important was to have a process for screening, selecting and hiring your employees. Fundamentally, the most important part that needs to be solved by most organizations is applicant flow. As we've scaled up and added more and more clients to our tracking system, sourcing has always come back as the primary problem that people struggle with. We've dedicated the last decade and a half to Identifying, unpacking and solving the sourcing issue, not just with technology and job boards, but creatively. 

Two years ago when Covid arose, went a step further than just tracking applicants are providing software and actually provided a done with us service for smaller employers to help them do a better job of attracting good candidates to their job. Over the last two years, those small employers have outperformed the bigger employers on our platform who were doing it themselves by something bringing in 50% more applicants for 1/5 of the cost and this led us to create a recruitment marketing service where we can better help employers to attract qualified candidates for their jobs.

As we began to gain traction, people start noticing. Each year we are recognized by several leading organizations that rank top companies in any industry. Safe to say we've made some waves in the HR world! 

Our Own Sourcing Story

we don't just provide hiring software. We're also an employer ourselves. Over the last 16 years we've grown from one part time work from home mom programmer to over 260 employees and during COVID, we struggled the same way that most employers have struggled with attracting qualified candidates for our jobs. We've always been a will go first improve IT organization. And then last year and a half we doubled down on this by being one of if not the most aggressive, small businesses when it came to our approach to how we would attract the most qualified candidates we could against as we put it, our hiring process or our hiring approach against much bigger, much better funded technology companies throughout Utah and the mountain last. And what we found was, are the results of that focus were quite significant
